Chat for the Spanish-speaking community

Spanish-speaking chat with no barriers: Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, all in the same room.

This is for the Spanish-speaking community in general — Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and everything in between. It doesn’t matter where you’re from: the room is the same for everyone.

tiptalk.chat loads fast from any Spanish-speaking country. The video servers pick the nearest one and the audio stays clear. A Mexico-Spain conversation runs over optimized transatlantic servers, not through a single point in the middle that adds latency.

If you’re organizing something between people from several countries, you just share the link and everyone lands in the same place without installing anything. That’s the advantage of being web-based: it doesn’t matter what phone each person uses.

Spanish-speaking chat is especially useful for creators with a distributed audience. If you have followers across several Spanish-speaking countries, opening a room gives them a common meeting point without wrestling with platforms that only work in one.

Tips in euros are easy to understand from Spain, but users in Latin America see them and convert them in their heads to their local currency. The conversion to peso/dollar/bolívar/sol depends on the issuing bank when the payment is made.

In terms of tone, the platform uses neutral Spanish: “tú” as the pronoun, verb forms understood in both Spain and Latin America, without overly regional slang. The idea is for it to feel comfortable for any Spanish speaker.

For a conversation between two people from different countries, the Spanish-speaking chat works just like any other room: text, voice, video and tips. Geographic distance doesn’t affect what you can do inside.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open a Spanish-speaking chat with people from different countries?+

Yes. The room accepts anyone with the link, no matter where they connect from. Calls are routed to minimize latency even if the participants are on different continents.

Does the tipping currency work in Latin America?+

Tips are handled in Tipsys, equivalent to euros (1 € = 8 Tipsys). Whoever buys Tipsys from Latin America pays the equivalent in their local currency at the exchange rate of the moment.

Do I need to sign up to use tiptalk.chat?+

No. You can create a room with just a nickname and a name, and the other person joins from the link without opening an account. You only need to register if you want to receive tips and cash them out to your account.

What happens to my messages when the room closes?+

When you close the room (or after 24 hours), we delete every message, photo and video that was uploaded. Nothing stays on our servers beyond the tip transaction record, which we are required to keep for tax purposes.

Which browsers does it work in?+

It works in up-to-date versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Brave. For video calls the browser will ask permission to use your camera and microphone the first time.
