Creating and using a room on tiptalk.chat is free. No cards, no trials that turn into a subscription, no hidden cost of any kind. This is the important part: the basic tool costs no money now and won’t cost anything later.
The only thing you pay for is tips — and that’s optional. If you just want to chat with someone, send them photos and talk by video, there’s never anything to pay. Not weekly, not monthly, not yearly.
If at some point you want to receive tips, you connect an account and start collecting them. Until then, everything is free chat. And even once you start receiving tips, the room stays free: the only cost is the fee on what you collect.
Unlike many free chat sites with asterisks everywhere, here there are no minute limits, no “free up to 5 messages,” no “first month free and then 9.99.” It’s free in the honest sense of the word.

No. You can create a room with just a nickname and a name, and the other person joins from the link without opening an account. You only need to register if you want to receive tips and cash them out to your account.
What happens to my messages when the room closes?+
When you close the room (or after 24 hours), we delete every message, photo and video that was uploaded. Nothing stays on our servers beyond the tip transaction record, which we are required to keep for tax purposes.
